I have been in this business for more than 3 years now, I admin during the pass 2 years selling website is like selling cookies in the street.  I may say it change my financial life, during those days I am making from $3,000.00 – $7000.00 a month just selling websites most of them are turnkey websites.

The price of sites those is ranging from $50 – $30000 or even more for a site with great content and site with PR.

I have sold my first site for $100 , that is the first time I discover that there is money in selling website. Since then I started creating websites and selling them. As I mentioned it’s really easy to sell websites those days and I can even sell my PR 3 website to $1000 and that take me almost 8 hours to developed that site only and build some traffic and back link to it.

But this days, I noticed the dramatically drop of website price early this year. The competition is very high this days, and most of those sellers keep droping the price of their sites even they have high quality site. Now earnings from selling website is slowly droping a site that making $1 a day before is raning from $800 – $1400 but this days you’re lucky if you can sell a site like that for $250.

For those who want to dive to this type of online business, please be prepare to compete with other but don’t forget to value your Virtual Real Estate. If we seller keep devaluing our Virtual properties because of competition and we want instant money sooner or later the value of virtual properties are no more.

If you want to become successful in this business, build the value of your site. Why not keep it for while and start building traffic for it and you will see sooner or later the value of you site will increase.

If the owner of myspace.com sold it right after he developed the site do you think he sold the site for $600,000,000 or the owner of youtube.com if they sold the site after 1 month or two month after they developed it would you think that google will buy it for 3Billion dollar?

To answer the question “Does buy and sell website dead?”: My answer is No, but you need to make your site valuable to make more money on your site. Don’t be hurry when selling your website.
