On August 29, I have posted here about the loose of PR of my news site. One of the reason I suspected why the site lose it’s PR is that I added a site wide link to it. Google maybe thought that the said links are Paid link.

That is the reason why I got a google penalty for this site. But after 3 days, it’s good news the site PR get back, the bad news is that PR is drop from PR 5 to PR 3 but still I am happy with the result of my action. It’s a good lesson for me and to all those continue reading this blog.

Avoid Google Penalty: Avoid selling  site wide text link from your website, if you can’t avoid to sell add “no follow” on it. Avoid linking to not related site or bad neighborhood.

If google penalized your site, don’t worry it’s not the end of the world. Try to follow what I did and wait for the good news.

1. Remove all site wide link from your site.

2. Login to Google webmaster Tool Page, if you don’t have account yet from google then you need to create one.

3. Add the site which was Penalized by google

4. At the right side of the google webmaster tool dashboard click the Request reconsideration link.

5. Here make your apeal to google tech people.
