The entire three major web rendering search engine namely Firefox’s Gecko, Internet Explorer’s Trident and WebKit which is used by Safari and Chrome will be in one browser now known as the Lunascape. This Tokyo-based web software company has already developed an English version of this software, way back 2001 they have already developed a Japanese version of it.

Lunascape Corp. offers this software as a free download. Lunascape 5 is interesting software to use they will work easily for you, specially for those who mostly prepare using Firefox and Internet Explorer as second browser because of some problems regarding IE-only and IE-optimized web pages out there.

Lunascape works easily you can toggle between rendering engines by right clicking the tab or just by using the switcher button on the left of your screen. Lunascape CEO Hidekazu Kondo calls this “semi-automatic” engine switching. With this you will be able to figure out what browser works for you easily and will fit your needs.

Lunascape come from abundance features that mostly geeks and web developers want that’s why this browser really works for them. Native support for RSS and podcast feeds, tab crash protection, support of mouse gestures for easier navigation, a library of Lunascape-exclusive plug-ins but for Japanese only at this point and skins, a form auto saver which saves passwords and texts written in blog posts or webmails and a huge number of tweaks and settings in the default menus.

Lunascape is still in alpha phase that’s why you will still encounter some problems but Kondo promises that this will be “very soon” be fixed and you will be able to use it comfortably with the beta version.
