We are all aware about the Netbooks, small screens, small keyboards and underpowered hardware. Sometime in May the founder of Netvibes left the company and thinks that he can fix the problem regarding this Netbooks and he is Tariq Krim.
The solution he was able to build is called Jolicloud, users will just download this software and they will be able to use it for their Netbooks and they just need to install it after the download process. There will be no problem what ever software you are using, they will wiped it off then replaced it with Linux operating system and custom browser.
But this software is not yet ready to be launch. They try to locate Tariq in Paris to be able to have some information about the software and demo even though they are just using a low end Asus Eee PC.
Jolicloud will also support touchsreens together with resembles of iPhone. Netbooks will be easier to use because they will include a larger icon for Netbooks.
There will be more features for this software it includes planned application platform for third party developers. There is one stripped down operating system that’s perfect for low end PCs. Good OS is different the company is targeting device manufacturers to add it as a dual boot option.
Jolicloud will sure be a hit for customers this will be a huge step forward in terms of usability.
