The company holding the blogging platform Movable Type recently announced a new social application known as “Motion”, Six Apart launch this to integrates social network-like activity streams, microblogging support and dead simple log in function for visitors, and they can even leave a comment very simple and easy or tie in their own activity feeds to your site.
This application will be free for those users of Movable Type Pro, the site’s premium service once it is done with beta in 2009. Still you can sign up for a free demo of the Beta Version of the application.
This application is build around open standards which means this will allow users to create their own microblogs that pull in events in a manner similar to FriendFeed, Six Apart’s Action Streams almost support 150 other sites, which has been launched early this year. And this application also supports the use of OpenID allowing the user to use different login with their Google accounts, Facebook Connect AOL screen names, and Yahoo IDs.
Till this day there aren’t any sites that have Motion that’s why it will be hard for the viewers to get feel on how it works.
